Anti-Wrinkle Injections - Botulinum Toxin Injections.

Anti-wrinkle injections relax the superficial facial muscles which are involved in making you look tired and cranky. This helps you look refreshed, more youthful and prevents future deep wrinkles.

The effect starts within a few days and wears off after three months, but many people find having injections 2-3 times per year is enough to maintain the benefits.

Common areas to treat are frown lines, forehead wrinkles and crows feet. Anti-wrinkle injections can also be used to help prevent sagging mouth corners, dimply chins and gummy smiles.

Dermal Filler Injections.

Cosmetic fillers are based on hyaluronic acid - the natural moisturiser found in the skin - and are soft gel-like products which when injected, help restore volume and symmetry in a subtle, natural way.

Fillers can soften the deeper lines that develop around the mouth, and restore lost volume and counteracting sagging.

The effect of cosmetic fillers is instant and can last for many months.

Common areas treated are lips, cheeks and the lines around the mouth and chin.

Lip filler can be used to create plumper, more attractive lips, improve the shape and border definition or restore more mature lips that have become thin and less defined.

Cheek filler can be used to create more youthful, rounded cheeks and help with the sagging and volume loss that occurs with ageing.

Bio-Remodelling Injections

This revolutionary next-generation injectable product is the “acceptable injectable” – a perfect solution for those wanting firmer, healthier, more hydrated skin with no change to their facial features or expressions.

It is an excellent choice if you want to reduce the appearance of sun damage and slow down the natural ageing process.

This product is made with high concentrations of hyaluronic acid, and its unique manufacturing process leads to a product with the consistency of honey. This spreads within the skin to intensely hydrate as well as switching on and stimulating the fibroblast cells in the dermis to produce more of your own natural collagen.

The initial treatment course is 2-3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart, with a maintenance session every 6-12 months recommended.

Bio-Stimulating Injections.

Bio-Stimulating injectables are a type of injectable treatment used to combat the signs of aging, particularly in the face. Unlike other dermal fillers that provide immediate results, Bio-Stimulators are designed to stimulate the body's own collagen production over time, resulting in a more gradual and natural-looking improvement in skin volume and texture.

The main active ingredient is poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), which has been used for decades in medical applications such as dissolvable stitches. When injected into the skin, PLLA particles work to stimulate the body's natural collagen production, which helps to plump up and smooth out lines and wrinkles.

Bio-stimulator treatments typically involve a series of injections spaced several weeks apart, with results gradually appearing over a period of several months. The number of treatments needed varies depending on the individual's skin condition and goals, but most people require at least three sessions.

Because they work gradually and produce subtle results, it is often preferred by those who want to avoid a dramatic, "over-filled" look. They are a safe and effective option for those looking to combat signs of aging in a more gradual and natural way.

Skinboosters.

Skinboosters involve injecting a very soft hydrating filler under the top layers of your skin providing skin enhancement, increasing skin firmness and elasticity, smoothing fine lines and improving depressed scars.

The stabilised Hyaluronic Acid in Skinboosters works gradually to improve skin quality by replenishing and maintaining natural hydration levels from within.

Results are progressive, subtle and natural-looking. The full effect of the treatment can take four weeks and are a great way to help skin recover its youthful glow.

Skinboosters are given usually over a course of two or three sessions, 3-4 weeks apart.

The results can last 6-12 months.

Regular maintenance involving one session is recommended every 6-12 months.

Benefits include:

  • Increased skin firmness and elasticity

  • Smooth and softer skin

  • Reduce fine lines

  • Improve imperfections such as depressed acne scars

Platelet Rich Plasma PRP

Platelet Rich Plasma - PRP (“Vampire facial”).

Platelet Rich Plasma therapy is a form of biostimulation that utilises concentrated factors from your own blood to stimulate skin cells to regenerate and rejuvenate. It has been used for decades in sports medicine and surgery to aid healing.

Platelet Rich Plasma is becoming increasingly popular in aesthetic treatments to improve skin texture and laxity, enhance skin tone for a brighter complexion, and promote better skin health.

Even more recently, Hollywood celebrities have made PRP in combination with Dermapen treatment (the “Vampire Facial”) a hot topic.

What are the benefits of PRP therapy?

  • Uses completely natural ingredients derived from your own blood

  • Improves skin texture and tone (colour)

  • Reduces skin laxity (crepiness), fine lines and wrinkles

  • Brightens the complexion (skin looks hydrated and glowing)

  • Useful for difficult to treat areas

  • Short post-treatment recovery time

What areas can be treated with PRP?

Any skin on the face and body can be treated and will benefit from PRP stimulation, particularly delicate, loose, crepey skin. Treatments areas include:

  • Around the eyes

  • Lip lines

  • Neck

  • Decollétage

  • Hands

PRP Combination Treatments.

PRP can be used in combination with many different skin therapies for more effective and longer-lasting results. At The Skin Clinic Peregian Beach, we commonly use PRP with Dermapen skin needling (the “Vampire facial”) to boost results.

How Many Treatments Are Required?
